About 

Palwinder Gill is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) specializing in trauma-informed, attachment-based, and somatic psychotherapy.  Her clinical background spans community mental health, correctional environments, and forensic psychiatric services, and her work is deeply rooted in trauma healing, attachment repair, and nervous system–informed practice.

 

Palwinder has extensive experience supporting individuals, couples, families, and parents in understanding how early attachment experiences shape emotional regulation, coping patterns, and relational dynamics. Her clinical practice emphasizes nervous system regulation, practical skill-building, and disrupting generational cycles of trauma. Much of her work focuses on helping clients make sense of coping mechanisms that once served a protective purpose but no longer support their current lives. From there, she works collaboratively with clients to develop healthier, more adaptive ways of relating to themselves and others, using practical, skills-based, and trauma-informed approaches. Her work is deeply rooted in trauma healing, attachment repair, and nervous system-informed practice..

With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, she has worked across a variety of settings, including community mental health, correctional facilities, addiction treatment centers, MCFD family therapy services, and forensic psychiatric care.
